Big block, big drawcard

Local sales agent Simone Curtis is expecting a second migration surge to hit Jimboomba within the next five years.

And it is because of properties like 1-15 Wynne Road that people are wanting to call the rural suburb home.

“It’s acreage living within five minutes to town and schools, with convenient access to the Mount Lindesay Highway,” Ms Curtis said.

“Young people and middle-aged people still want large blocks.

“They want space from their neighbours and to have the freedom to go out into your backyard and enjoy it.”

She said the 1.01ha Wynne Road corner block offered more than enough space for large families and hobby farmers.

“It has a beautiful dam there, and some livestock on it at the moment,” Ms Curtis said.

“The current owner has renovated the property and put in a beautiful concrete pool.

“There are two sheds on it – one massive – perfect for someone who has a business or needs extra space.

“It’s a family home that ticks all the boxes with the pool, sheds and a large entertainment area.”

The outside area surrounding the home features a freshly turfed and landscaped yard, and an outdoor entertaining area Ms Curtis said was ideal for hosting gatherings with family and friends.

“The home has one large lounge and separate dining, a massive master suite and a renovated ensuite, as well as four bedrooms plus a study,” she said.

While the home is perfect for families looking to buy, Ms Curtis said similar properties in the area were attracting investors.

“I settled one two weeks ago at the high end of price point – over $1.3 million,” she said.

“I sold that to Sydney investors and we’re now leasing it out.

“That is also a very large home with a pool and shed.”

She said investors were “banking” on the region’s future growth.

“It might be shocking to people,” she said.

“We suspect that in the next four to five years there will be another surge of growth.

“House prices may increase – property will always go up, if all is well.

“Get in now, or get in 15 years ago if you could,” Ms Curtis joked.
