Just minutes later, they reportedly stole a white Volkswagen Golf from a home on Langley Avenue, Wilston, around 4.55am.
The group continued south, committing two armed robberies at Logan service stations within 20 minutes.
At 5.50 am, they targeted a Beenleigh Redland Bay Road, Cornubia, service station.
Armed with a knife and a wrench, they allegedly stole cash and cigarettes before fleeing in the stolen vehicle.
At 6.07am, the offenders struck again, this time at a service station on Clarkes Road, Loganholme, taking more cash and cigarettes.
Police described the offenders as a group of up to four males and are calling for public assistance.
Police are urging anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the incidents or the stolen Volkswagen Golf to come forward.
