The flood clean-up continues, but the hubs which set up to help those who were suffering have now closed.
Hubs at the Jimboomba Recovery Hub at Caddies Community Centre, Beenleigh PCYC and Kingston East Neighbourhood Group (KENG) all closed last week.
The three recovery hubs were opened by the state government to provide financial assistance and support services for impacted residents.
They have provided a place for residents to talk to community recovery workers, receive referrals for community organisations and other government agencies and apply for hardship grants.
Mayor Darren Power said hundreds of people had been supported over the past month by the hubs.
“They have acted as a one-stop shop to help affected residents and businesses begin to piece their lives back together,” he said.
Cr Power said the closure of the hubs did not mean that support was no longer available for impacted residents and businesses in the City of Logan.
Support is available through the Community Recovery Hotline 1800 173 349 or at qld.gov.au/communityrecovery
