I would like you to give a big thank you to some very kind people in Bethania.
On Tuesday morning my husband and I walked to our little local shops. My husband was just standing talking to a friend when he suddenly collapsed.
People just flew to help. A lady put her jacket under his head, another phoned the ambulance.
Someone brought a chair for me, and a gentleman held a towel over him to keep the sun off.
A nurse from the doctors came to see if she could help and the pharmacist came out with an umbrella to shade us all.
Others stopped to see if they could help and a young woman went into the shop to buy a bottle of water for us.
The care and thoughtfulness of total strangers was just overwhelming.
My husband is still in hospital but will have a pacemaker fitted, so thankfully not another heart attack. Please say THANK YOU in big capital letters.
