A second person has been charged with murder after a 66-year-old man died during an alleged altercation at a Beenleigh house.
Queensland Police said officers were called to a Lubach Street residence about 4.45pm on Tuesday 18 August following reports of an altercation involving three people who lived at the address.
Police allege a 43-year-old Beenleigh woman stabbed the 66-year-old man during the incident.
Officers performed CPR, but the man died at the scene.
A 47-year-old Karalee man and the Beenleigh woman were taken into custody.
Police initially charged the man with one count of murder.
The woman was subsequently charged with murder, acts intended to maim, disfigure or disable, and an aggravated offence of contravening a domestic violence order.
Both were scheduled to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on 19 August.
Police investigations are continuing.
