A 21-year-old man has died in hospital after suffering serious head injuries during a disturbance at Bahrs Scrub.
Queensland Police said the Redbank Plains man died at Princess Alexandra Hospital on Saturday 1 August, six days after he was found injured on Orchard Avenue.
Officers had been called to nearby Discovery Boulevard about 2.15am on 26 July following reports of a large disturbance involving a group of people.
Police found significant damage to several cars and a house, while members of the group allegedly fled the area.
The injured man was located nearby and taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding the assault and the man’s death are continuing.
Anyone with information, CCTV, home-security footage or dashcam vision from the Discovery Boulevard and Orchard Avenue area around the time has been urged to contact police.
