A 32-year-old man has been charged with murder after a 65-year-old man was found dead at a Woodridge unit.
Police attended the North Road property about 7.15am on Tuesday, October 6, for a welfare check and found the Woodridge man deceased.
A crime scene was declared and detectives from Logan Criminal Investigation Branch and the Homicide Investigation Unit began investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
Police arrested a 32-year-old man at Beenleigh about 7.50pm that night.
He was subsequently charged with murder and is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday, October 7.
