A Crestmead man, 18, has been charged with drug-driving in Yarrabilba, police said.
Police allege they intercepted a Ford Falcon sedan on Yarrabilba Drive at around 11.20pm on 1 May.
Police allege the driver, a Provisional 1 licence holder, was driving during restricted hours (11pm to 5am) with three passengers and that the car was ‘defective’.
A roadside saliva test allegedly returned a positive result, police said.
The Crestmead man has been charged with one count of drug-driving and is due to appear in Beaudesert Magistrates Court on 30 June.
Police also issued him with three Traffic Infringement Notices for driving a defective car, driving during a restricted driving period, and breaching P1 passenger restrictions for drivers under 25.
He was fined $1166, received seven demerit points and had his licence suspended.
As part of Operation Interpose, Logan officers carried out 4,159 roadside breath tests across the district over the long weekend.
Police detected 16 people allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and 19 allegedly driving under the influence of drugs.
Four drivers were allegedly found speeding at high speeds, while 19 people were issued Notices to Appear for allegedly driving unlicensed or operating an unregistered car.
Officers also issued 106 traffic infringement notices for various driving offences.
