A 32-year-old Yarrabilba woman from has been charged with unlawful possession of a weapon following a search of a property (last week?)
Police from the Logan District Drug and Firearm Team and Logan District Tactical Crime Squad said the sawn-off .22 calibre rifle was found in a backpack in a wardrobe of a bedroom.
Police believe the rifle was used in robberies at Logan and the Gold Coast. Police have already made arrests in relation to these two armed robberies.
She will appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on July 9.
Investigations are continuing.
