A man who allegedly threatened people with a gun at Beenleigh has been charged.
Police allege they were called to the intersection of George Street and Main Street at about 4.33pm on 5 November following reports an armed man was threatening people with what appeared to be a gun.
Police said they arrived on scene three minutes later and the man was taken into custody at 4.38pm.
No one was injured.
The man, a 23-year-old from Mount Warren Park, has been charged with one count each of dangerous conduct with a weapon and obstructing police.
He is expected to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today, 6 November.
