A conference designed for business-owning mums will be at Slacks Creek tomorrow (Wednesday).
Be MPowered 2021 aims to harmonise ambition, livelihood and wellbeing, Mums and Co chief Carrie Kwan said.
“With a dynamic speaker line-up of inspiring business-owning mums and a hybrid digital and face-to-face conference format to be broadcast nationally,” Ms Kwan said.
She said attendees were encouraged to nurture their #Mumbition, build their confidence, feel empowered to ask for what they need and gain practical tools to achieve their goals.
There would be eight sessions focusing on a mix of business and wellbeing topics and regardless of industry, will provide universal wisdom about the rewards and challenges of being a business-owning mum.
Keynote speakers include mindset coach and athlete Turia Pitt, Buy from the Bush’s Grace Brennan, international speaker and author Katrina McCarter and author Dr Delia McCabe.
There will be 10 minute “snackable” sessions to allow delegates to prioritise topics relevant to their business needs.
Delegates have an opportunity to practice their pitch and gain exposure for their business with a 30 second pitch video, to be compiled into a video reel and played between sessions.
The event will be hosted at Extraction, Slacks Creek, but the online format allows the conference to be accessible to business-owning mums across Australia via satellite feed.
