Arndale Shopping Centre is at the tail end of its $15 million refurbishment.
Upgrades to the 45-year-old shopping precinct have been long overdue and came after Consolidated Properties Group bought the centre for $35.5 million in 2019.
Upgrades included improvements to the four mall entries, a facelift to the existing facade and a boost to the internal mall.
Consolidated Properties Group CEO Don O’Rorke said a further boost would come in the coming months with the unveiling of a number of significant new tenancies.
“We have several new tenancies on the horizon that we’re sure the local community will embrace and be really excited about,” he said.
“The centre, anchored by Coles and supported by 44 specialty stores, is producing approximately $65 million per annum in revenue which is great news for local business”
Springwood MP Mick de Brenni said: “As a born and bred local, I’ve seen much of our business district age, and after 45 years, Arndale was certainly due for refurbishment.”
