Poem: Eggs for tea

EGGS FOR TEA 

We’ll have some eggs

Not too runny

To save our legs

And save some money

And we’ll dine in

‘Cause it is right 

That we’ll have din

At home tonight 

Yes, eggs on toast

Sounds very nice

And we’ll not boast 

Of Chinese rice

But on the boil

We’ll eat to be

Just like a royal 

With eggs for tea.
