Beenleigh train station has been closed indefinitely.

Both catholic and indepedent schools in Logan will have their decisions by or after 5pm today.

Impact Care Services will be providing free hot meals to the Jimboomba community from 4pm – 8pm at Caddies tonight.

Dine in or take away.

On the menu will be butter chicken, lamb hot pot and sausage and bread.

2.47pm: Optus update

Optus teams are working to restore mobile and internet services across Logan.

The company is prioritising key hub locations that provide connections to surrounding sites.

Customers in affected areas may still be able to connect through Optus Wi-Fi calling or use messaging apps such as WhatsApp and FaceTime if they have access to Wi-Fi. These features must be enabled in phone settings.

1.43pm: River level update

BoM has released their latest river level update.

The Logan River at Maclean Bridge is currently at 15.09 metres and rising, above the moderate flood level (13.50 m). The Logan River at Maclean Bridge is likely to reach around 15.20 metres Monday afternoon with moderate flooding. Further areas of localised heavy rainfall may cause additional river level rises.

The Logan River at Waterford is currently at 7.20 metres and rising, above the minor flood level (6.00 m). The Logan River at Waterford may peak around the moderate flood level (7.50 m) Monday afternoon.

The Logan River at Parklands is currently at 4.34 metres and steady, above the moderate flood level (4.00 m). The Logan River at Parklands is likely to reach around 4.40 metres Monday afternoon with moderate flooding. Further areas of localised heavy rainfall may cause additional river level rises.

The Albert River at Beenleigh is currently at 5.72 metres and falling, above the major flood level (5.50 m). Further areas of localised heavy rainfall may cause renewed river level rises along the Albert River at Beenleigh to around 6.10 metres during Monday evening, which is just below the 2013 level of 6.20 metres.

Energex has restored power to 10,000 homes since yesterday afternoon as per their current outage list.

25,000 homes remain without power.

1.00pm: Power, tea and coffee

The Logan Village Lions Club will be open until 7pm with power to charge devices and tea and coffee.

11.00am: River level update

BoM has released their latest river level update.

They have said that a major flood peak just below the 2013 flood level is possible at Beenleigh this afternoon.

The Logan River at Maclean Bridge is currently at 14.79 metres and rising, above the moderate flood level (13.50 m). The Logan River at Maclean Bridge may reach around 15.20 metres early Monday afternoon, with moderate flooding. Higher levels are possible with forecast rainfall.

The Logan River at Waterford is currently at 7.10 metres and rising, above the minor flood level (6.00 m). The Logan River at Waterford may peak around the moderate flood level (7.50 m) Monday afternoon.

The Logan River at Parklands is currently at 4.29 metres and rising, above the moderate flood level (4.00 m). Further rises are expected during Monday morning and the Logan River at Parklands may reach around 4.50 metres Monday afternoon, with moderate flooding. Higher levels are possible with forecast rainfall.

The Albert River at Beenleigh peaked at 6.02 metres around 3:10 am Monday with major flooding, and is currently at 5.92 metres and rising, above the major flood level (5.50 m). Renewed river level rises are likely along the Albert River at Beenleigh as floodwaters from upstream peaks arrive. The river level may reach around 6.10 metres during Monday afternoon, which is just below the 2013 level of 6.20 metres.

10.55am: Missing teen found

The missing teen from Logan Reserve has been found.

8.48am: Missing teen, Logan Reserve

Police are seeking public assistance to locate an 18-year-old man missing from Logan Reserve since Sunday night.

Caleb was last seen at a Burdekin Road property around 11pm on 9 March and has not been in contact since.

He is described as Caucasian, with short brown hair, and was last seen wearing camouflage shorts without a shirt or shoes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact police.

The latest update from BoM suggests both the Logan and Albert river will continue to rise until this afternoon.

The Logan River at Maclean Bridge is currently at 13.94 metres and rising, above the moderate flood level (13.50 m). The Logan River at Maclean Bridge is likely to reach around 15.00 metres late Monday morning. Higher levels are possible with forecast rainfall.

The Logan River at Waterford is currently at 6.95 metres and rising, above the minor flood level (6.00 m). The Logan River at Waterford may reach the moderate flood level (7.50 m) Monday afternoon. Higher levels are possible with forecast rainfall.

The Logan River at Parklands is currently at 4.19 metres and rising, above the moderate flood level (4.00 m). Further rises are expected during Monday morning and the Logan River at Parklands may reach around 4.40 metres Monday afternoon. Higher levels are possible with forecast rainfall.

The Albert River at Beenleigh is currently at 6.02 metres and rising, above the major flood level (5.50 m). The Albert River at Beenleigh may reach around 6.10 metres Monday morning.

The next river level update is planned for 10am.

The rain was relentless last night and there looks to be countless roads closed due to flooded waters.
