Freeways or motorways, whatever they are called, create a barrier between two or more communities, or divide a community. For example, the M1 has separated Eagleby from Beenleigh with only three access points.
The proposed  2nd Stage of the Coomera Connector, by whichever of the six routes chosen, will create another division, as well as causing a vast amount of environmental damage.
These six routes all need to cross both the Logan and Albert Rivers. I suggest that the two bridges be joined by a high-level flyover, similar to the Kempsey bypass on the Pacific Motorway in NSW.
This will then not create a barrier, with all types of existing access remaining as they are now. Also the environmental damage will be drastically reduced.
I imagine that the cost will be a lot greater than a ground-level highway, but that should not be a valid consideration.
I urge the planners, and all the politicians to consider this proposal as an viable option.
