Two Eagleby residents have been injured during an alleged attempted burglary at their home this morning (Sunday 23 June).
Police said that a “group of offenders” gained access to the Roslyn Court home at around 7.30am.
“… before they assaulted a female resident,” a police statement said.
“A male resident has then confronted the group, causing them to flee the residence and enter two vehicles nearby, a grey car and a white car, and further fled the area.”
The two residents, a 48-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man, suffered minor injuries.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
