Division 10 of Logan City Council includes: Carbrook, Cornubia, Loganholme, Tanah Merah, and part of Shailer Park.
There is currently only one candidate.

Why should people vote for you?
I am hardworking, compassionate and dedicated to my community with strong ethical values. I do my best to find solutions to problems and am constantly looking for ways to make Division 10 and Logan City the best place to live. Â I listen to what my community needs and wants, and continue to implement change and projects in response to this.
I am actively involved in supporting our local sporting, charity and community organisations, schools and the greater community attending and helping at events, school P&C meetings, BushCare and TrailCare groups. I am a supporter of local business as I know they are the backbone of our community. I have a degree in accountancy and was previously a Chartered Accountant using this knowledge regularly in my role but in particular during the Council budget process.  I am an independent voice who has never been a member of a political party and 100% self-fund my campaign.
What would you aim to deliver for your community?
Over the last 4 years I have worked hard to ensure the delivery of a significant number of small and large projects across Division 10, being most proud of the landscaping project on Beenleigh-Redland Bay Road, major upgrades to Alexander Clark Park, and the improvement of many local parks, sporting and community organisations.
Over the next 4 years, for the City of Logan I want to continue to work with a great team at Logan City Council to further the implementation of the Value for Money program helping reduce waste and making our organisation more efficient. For Division 10 I want to implement plans for the upgrade of Murrays Environment Reserve Park, Tudor Park, a skills track at Parkview Park, Cornubia Quarry Park and further upgrades to Alexander Clark Park and other local parks. I will continue to support our sporting and community organisations with the upgrades they need, work with the traffic and roads team to deliver safer roads, install further CCTV cameras, footpaths and pathways which connect our communities better and work to keep our community looking clean, tidy and a great place to live.
Why did you decide  run for Council?
Back in 2019 I decided I wanted to make a positive difference in my local community and across Logan City as a Councillor and I believe I have done this over the last four years.
What suburb do you live in?
I live in Shailer Park and have lived and/or worked in Logan for 39 years.
