Nominations for the 2023 City of Logan Sports Awards are now open.
The annual event, which celebrates the achievements of Logan’s most elite athletes, officials and coaches, will be hosted at the Logan Entertainment Centre on Saturday 28 October.
Categories include:
- Athlete of the Year
- Young Athlete of the Year
- Master Athlete of the Year
- Sports Official of the Year
- Sports Event of the Year
- Sports Administration of the Year
- Athlete with a Disability of the Year
- Sports Team of the Year
- Sports Coach of the Year
- Sports Organisation of the Year
“Logan has a reputation as a passionate sporting city,” lifestyle chair councillor Tony Hall said.
“We are a community that is always proud of our sporting stars, whether they represent the city at a local, national or international level.
“The Sports Awards is an annual opportunity to recognise the achievements of our elite athletes, and hard work of the coaches and officials that keep our community clubs going.”
Nominations close on Thursday 17 August.
