Retro markets with a pinball twist

Distillery Road Market at Eagleby steps back in time on Saturday (10 June) with a stack of retro arcade games and free entertainment.

The throwback event promises a blast from the past, along with Trucks & Tunes which are normally at the markets.

It goes from 4pm-9pm, and with the retro arcade games-inspired theme, it’ll be a world of pixelated adventures, high scores and joystick juggling.

Play pinball, Guitar Hero and Sega Rally while twisting to free music from Big Fella Linc, The Genez and Sugar Game.

There will be more than 35 market stalls by artisan makers and producers inside the main hall, including homemade treats, jams and preserves, beauty products, plants, pet products, homewares and more.

Food truck operators include roast potatoes by London Spuds, Rosticceria (Greek Souvlaki), Roll It Ice Cream Co. and Oh Waffles.

Fortnightly DRM Bazaar Markets also return on June 15, from 4pm-8pm, showcasing the region’s best local producers, artisans, makers and creators.

From July, Distillery Road Market is having a shake up, with the Bazaar Markets moving to the first Thursday of every month, followed by Trucks & Tunes on the second Thursday of the month.

Then on the last Saturday of every month, the lifestyle precinct will host a brand-new addition to their market events, with a new Farmers’ Market.
