KIMBERLEY Park State School students will have an artistic installation, titled Watertoy – Sounds of play, displayed at Curiocity Brisbane.
The display was part of the festival’s schools’ challenge and was created in collaboration with Make + Meld.
Watertoy is an interactive STEM-focused game which promotes collaborative play and uses the low-tech STEM principles of Archimedes screws and gears to transport balls around the game.
Curiocity Brisbane is a key pillar of World Science Festival Brisbane.
Organisers said Kimberly Park State School’s work brought a youthful lens to programming and helpes fuel students’ inquisitive, playful and creative nature.
