The residents living in Palm Lake resort Bethania and Palm Lake resort Waterford are extremely concerned about this rail trail Logan council are planning to go through the two resorts following the obsolete train line.
When we purchased our homes in this gated community, we felt secure and safe but the possibility of this trail going through between the two communities would severely impact the peaceful lifestyle the aged vulnerable residents currently enjoy, not to mention our safety, security and mental health brought about by anxiety.
We have no objections to a trail in the area, but are pleading with the Logan council to consider an alternate route around the two resorts.
The thought of people walking, riding bikes and riding horses is very disturbing, also taking into account the noise and litter factor.
