Logan detectives investigating a wounding at a local tavern last month have released vision of a man who may be able to assist with their investigations.
Police were called to a Wembley Road tavern around 3am on Thursday, August 4, following reports a man had sustained minor knife wounds to his arms.
Investigations indicate that the 29-year-old Brisbane man had intervened in a physical altercation involving two men not known to him.
During a scuffle involving all three men, the 29-year-old sustained minor cut wounds to his arm from a knife produced by one of the other men. He received treatment at the Princess Alexandra Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The unknown offender left the tavern on foot with police appealing for him, or anyone who recognises the man, to contact them. He is described as possibly middle eastern, aged in his 20s, about 175cm tall, with an olive complexion, black hair and a black goatee.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to officers is also asked to contact police.
The second man involved in the initial altercation, a 32-year-old Brisbane man, was not physically injured. He has spoken with police and does not know the other man.
