Award-winning jeweller Andreas Efthivoulou has been part of thousands of family milestones in Logan since he opened Ridge Jewellers at Springwood Mall at the same time the centre opened in 1986.
This Saturday he will become part of another family’s story when one lucky Springwood Mall customer wins a $6000 diamond ring that he has provided as part of the centre’s new-look celebrations.
The ring will be the major prize in Springwood Mall’s ‘Spin and Win’ competition that is running on Saturday 26 August only.
Other prizes and vouchers from a range of retailers are also up for grabs.
Centre celebrations will continue on Sunday 27 August with the draw for the $10,000 cash giveaway.
Mr Efthivoulou is thrilled with Springwood Mall’s redevelopment and is excited to be part of its next chapter.
While he has some special centre memories over the years, including fairs held in the car park and a mini ‘Ekka’, his fondest moments always involve family and friendships.
“My favourite Springwood Mall moments now are special times like Santa’s visit every year, where I have my grandchildren come in the photos with me, and my friendships with other retailers.
“After being here for 37 years, I have many customers who have now become like family. They come to me first for their engagement rings and wedding bands, then their children’s first ID bracelets, birthday gifts and anniversary jewellery. I love when their children grow up and come back to me for their engagement rings.”
