A large shed has collapsed after catching fire along the Mt Lindesday Highway this afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the 3000sqm shed in South Maclean, at the corner of Crest Road, at around 1.50pm.
A total of 18 crews battled the blaze, which was contained at around 5pm, according to a Queensland Fire Department spokesperson.
He said the shed suffered a “major structural collapse”.
At around 5.20pm, five fire crews remained on scene dampening the fire and using an excavator to demolish the remainder of the shed.
“Fire investigators will be out there tomorrow,” the spokesperson said.
Paramedics remain on scene on standby.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said one person was assessed but was not hospitalised.
