2000 reasons to shop locally

MyCity Logan is proudly local – locally owned, and locally operated.

We believe so much in the importance of buying local produce, that we’re willing to put our money where our mouth is, putting up a $2000 shopping spree to make one person’s Christmas 2021 extra special.

To be in the draw is easy. All you have to do is buy something – anything, of any amount – from one of our partners.

Springwood Mall, Logan Central Plaza and Meadowbrook Shopping Centre all have a great list of retailers who’ll be happy to give you a hand with your Christmas shopping.

Shop at any of them and you’re entitled to enter the draw.

Every time you shop, enter again and again. But remember, only one entry per receipt!

Springwood Mall is undergoing a $46 million facelift which will culminate in a brand new shopping experience next year. But they’re still open for Christmas, and shop owners will be pleased to see you in their neighbourhood.

Logan Central Plaza is one of Logan’s biggest shopping centres, with plenty of places to grab a meal, and lots of options to fill your Christmas stocking.

Meadowbrook Shopping Centre will soon have a medical centre adjacent to the air conditioned shopping mall, and is set to be in the heart of Logan’s fast-growing medical hub. Eat at a restaurant or get your nails done. Maybe both.

You can keep the household gardener happy this Christmas with a gift from the Stihl Shop Jimboomba.

Pick up your Christmas ham or other meats from Big Gun Wholesale Meats, maybe sit down for a meal, grab a drink and relax at Club Beenleigh.

Southside Flower Market has shelves of beautiful gifts for Christmas, as does Plants by Wendy and M.A.D Aquariums.

Don’t wait until Christmas, pop in to Daisy Hill Squash and Racquet club to sweat it out for an hour. For that, you too qualify to enter the draw.

Also involved is Ampulse Energy, Simply Beds, Kingston Butter Factory Arts & Craft, Logan City Tenpin, and Authentic Church Cafe at Meadowbrook.

It wouldn’t be fair to leave out the tradies. So do some work with Ron Johnstone Tree Lopping, Keith’s Tree Lopping, True Blue Glass, One Call Handyman, Leakfree Plumbing Solutions, my place mowing and gardening, Kitchens by Charlie, NJ Clifton Carpentry, A1 Protect Termite Management, The Wholesale Carpet Man, IceBolt Electrical or John’s Home Maintenance and you’ll also qualify to be in the draw.

Entries open today, November 16 and close 5pm Sunday December 12. So get yourself into a local store to shop and win.
