A man, aged 18, has died following a two vehicle traffic crash in Tamborine Friday afternoon.
Police said just before 4pm a black 2013 Ford Fiesta was travelling west along Mundoolun Connection Road approaching the intersection of Beaudesert Beenleigh Road when a collision has occurred with a large dump truck travelling south.
An off duty paramedic rendered immediate assistance at the scene, however the driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old Boyland man, died at the scene.
The truck driver was not physically injured.
Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for witnesses, especially those with dashcam vision of the crash, or the moments leading up to it to come forward
