A 23-year-old Buccan man has died after a car crashed into a power pole at Buccan, near Beenleigh.
Police were called to The Aspect about 8.25pm on Wednesday, October 28, following reports that a black Subaru WRX had struck a power pole.
The 23-year-old passenger sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
The driver, a 24-year-old New Beith man, suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
