We are already into February and that means the Logan Chamber of Commerce holiday hiatus is over.
Last year we isolated, shut down and kept ourselves safe. This year we are opening up the floodgates on connections and business.
Of course, we are still under the restrictions imposed by the Queensland Government mandate but within this, we are working on over 65 face-to-face events to bring business out of isolation and claim 2022 as the year for Logan Business to emerge from isolation and claim our rightful place at the top of the economic tree.
If your business preferences tend towards the digital, you need to come along to our “tech founders” breakfast where the geeks of Logan business hang out in an informal get together once a month.
If you have a more artistic passion, then come to our free Arts After Dark. These are held every second month with an Arts Breakfast alternate months to cater for both the night owls and early birds.
We also have specific networking events for sporting clubs and organisations where we talk about how these essential organisations can be even stronger in 2022.
Are you more focused on connecting with the tourist sector in Logan? We live in an amazing part of the world and our tourism sector meet to help each other and strengthen connections for this exciting and growing business community.
If you are a charity or not-for-profit, we have a networking meeting just for you. The next function for you will be in March and is titled “There’s a grant for that”.
We’ll hear from grant writers, recipients and find out what exists, how to win it and what to do once you’ve received the money.
Many of these events are free, with details available on the chamber website. www.loganchamber.com.au
The Logan Chamber of Commerce has been helping businesses in Logan connect and grow for 45 years and as president, I can tell you that a little pandemic has only made us stronger.
It’s going to be a huge year for business and the Logan Chamber of Commerce. We look forward to seeing you (in the flesh) very soon.
