Wonderful Women of Waterford, Shannon Fentiman

One of my favourite events of the year is the annual Wonderful Women of Waterford Awards.

I love how this event brings together girls as young as 15 and women in their 90s, all in one room, to celebrate the incredible work women are doing in our community. Every person who received an award is a reminder of the caring, generous and connected community we are lucky to live in.

Not all contributions to our community get the recognition they deserve. Across Waterford, many women are giving their time and energy to supporting others and strengthening community organisations. Their efforts might not always be immediately visible, but their impact is deeply felt.

A big congratulations to all the recipients of the award, and thank you to everyone who came along to support and continue to make this event so exceptional each year.

Easter Egg Hunt

This Saturday, March 28, I have the pleasure of hosting my annual Easter Egg Hunt in Tygum Park, Waterford West.

Starting at 9:00am, join us for a morning of fun right here in Waterford! Bring along the kids for a fantastic community Easter Egg Hunt. Tickets to the event are limited and essential. To make sure you don’t miss out, please find the tickets to the “Waterford community Easter Egg Hunt” on Eventbrite online.

It’s always a great event to catch up with neighbours, meet other locals and celebrate together. Whether you’ve lived in Waterford for years or just moved into the area, it’s a fantastic chance to come together in a relaxed and welcoming space.

The Eater Egg Hunt will be followed by a community BBQ with sausages and drinks provided. I’m looking forward to seeing so many people come along and be part of this special event.
