The Pacific Motorway was closed while the Forensic Crash Unit investigated and reopened shortly after 8.30pm.

Anyone with information can contact Policelink on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.

Police also urged motorists to take care on the roads and said every decision behind the wheel mattered.
