A woman died Thursday night after being hit by a car while crossing the road.
Police alleged the woman, 66, was struck by the car at around 6.50pm at Marsden.
She suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.
Police said they had spoken with the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 42-year-old Kingston man, and investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
Anyone who witnessed the crash, or has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage, is urged to contact police.
