A 32-year-old woman has been arrested on murder charges after a man was found dead in a Browns Plains home.
Police claim emergency services were called to the Basie Court address at around midday Sunday after a 72-year-old man was found “unconscious and not breathing”.
“He was declared deceased at the scene,” police said in a statement.
Police said a 32-year-old Browns Plains woman was taken into custody at the scene, and has since been charged with murder (Domestic violence offence).
“It is believed the man and woman are known to each other.”
The woman is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
Investigations are ongoing.
