Windaroo TSG re-opens after three months

After a Queensland Day they’d rather forget, the crew at TSG Windaroo are set to re-open their store once again, and they’re confident a tight-knit community will get right behind them.

Fire tore apart Windaroo’s shopping strip in June. Police suspect it was intentionally lit.

But that hasn’t deterred businesses, determined to be open again and servicing their surrounding suburbs.

Most businesses were already suffering the knock-on effects of Covid, but TSG’s Tania Gray says they’re now able to re-open the doors.

“It’s been a horrible time, but we hope people will get behind us,” she said.

The TSG wasn’t in the worst-hit part of the centre, but suffered considerable smoke damage during the blaze.

During the three months they’ve been closed, TSG Windaroo News has been running out of TSG Mt Warren News.
