The work of students from four schools – Kingston State College, Woodridge State School, Woodridge State High School and St Paul’s Catholic Primary School – have their work in the spotlight at one of the city’s busiest shopping centres.
Logan Central Plaza is embracing the spirit of the season with “The Christmas Tree Project”.
Under the concept, children from each of the schools were asked to showcase the meaning of Christmas by using their art and craft talents.
Schools each received a quantity of 1.5m freestanding blank Christmas trees which allowed them to use their imagination and creativity to highlight the meaning of Christmas through any art form.
“The Christmas Trees are beautiful and to appreciate the amount of work the children have put into decorating them you are invited to view the display which is located outside of Kmart,” a Logan Central Plaza representative said.Â
“The community is encouraged to vote for their favourite Christmas Tree, and the tree with the most votes will be awarded $500 of gift Cards, and by voting one lucky person will also win a $50 gift card.”
