Meadowbrook Golf Club continues to bill itself as one of Logan’s best kept secrets, but it’s probably beyond that.
The club has built state-of-the-art golf simulators, an academy which teaches more children than any other golf course in the state, and the course stretches over 27 holes.
However, it’s a day out for non-golfers that the club is becoming newly noted for.
You don’t have to be a golfer to use the club’s simulator and play one of the world’s great courses by hitting a ball and watching the computer.
Neither do you need to be a putting master to have a shot at putt putt.
The club does have the odd tournament for putt putt specialists, but families are the ones who are trying out the club in droves.
They’re going to the clubhouse for the newly-instated American-style slow-cooked barbecue meats, grilled low and slow in the specially-ordered oven for 20 hours.
Or they’re sneaking into the club for a $16 mid-week lunch.

3. Entry is open to persons over 18 years of age and Queensland residents only. Only one entry per person is permitted. All duplicate entries will be removed prior to the prize draw.
4. Promotion commences on Monday, March 6, and closes at 9am Tuesday March 14, 2023. Promotion will be via www.mycitylogan.com.au and MyCity Logan printed edition.
5. There are (5) five prizes to be won for the duration of the competition. The draw will take place at 5pm, Tuesday February 1, 2023. The winner will be notified by email and/or text. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
