“With the school bell just about to ring in 2021, we know it can be hard to find healthy, simple and quick lunch box ideas for the kids term after term,” says the Banjo’s team.
Banjo’s Bakery Café Park Ridge has developed healthy and mouth-watering lunch box fillers, making it easier (for little and big kids alike!) to head back to the books, classrooms and uniforms.
From nutritional salads and savouries to delicious sweets and baked breads, the lunch box fillers simplify the concept of a ‘healthy lunch box’ to keep kids happy and bellies full until 3pm.
Banjo’s Park Ridge baker and franchisee, Jonothan Saxby says the ideal lunch box should have variety, contain items from each food group, is colourful and has food low in fat, sugar and salt – plus water to drink.
Mr Saxby’s favourite lunch box fillers include:
• Chicken and seeded mustard salad sandwich, with 100% chicken breast and fresh salad
• Tasmanian smoked salmon pita, rich in omega 3 with fresh salad
• Ham, cheese and tomato breakfast croissant, low in sugar with premium ham
• Spinach and ricotta rolls, low in sugar and veggie-packed
• Blueberry muffin, packed with fibre and antioxidants
Lunch box fillers are available via the app, or from Banjo’s Park Ridge, 17-25 Park Ridge Road to save valuable time in your morning routine.
