HomeFeature"Where do seniors fit into this?"

“Where do seniors fit into this?”

Yet again I ask “where do seniors fit into this?”

I heard about this new cash back strategy and enquired about it. The
battery is $16,000+ so I would have to somehow find $8,000. (The one for
the electric vehicle was $25,ooo in enquiries a couple of years again.)

Unfortunately it does not end there. To have one if the batteries, your
inverter must be a minimum of 5kw. Engergex made me sign a form in which
I adhere to no larger than 1.5kw.

So there you have it. Even if I could have the inverter I would have to
buy a new one and more panels.

I started work in 1979 and superannuation came in some 13yrs later. We
don’t all have the amount of superannuation that the politicians,
councillors, and young people will have and there are still some folk
around who never did receive superannuation.

On top of that, due to a new standard, new people in my retirement
community, cannot put solar on their houses as it will overload the
system or some such thing. It would be nice if they could look into that
and look after our seniors first. Like the flood plan, these new
policies are made and they can’t see the Seniors for the trees.
