Easter seafood Springwood
QLD Prawns & Seafood Direct will open its doors for five days over Easter, offering a wide selection of fresh seafood at 28 Dennis Road, Springwood.
Trading will run from 8am to 2pm daily, starting Wednesday 16 April and continuing through to Sunday 20 April.
The pop-up event will feature a variety of seafood, including Pacific oysters from Coffin Bay, Sydney Rock oysters from Camden Haven River, prawns, sashimi trays, fresh whole fish, reef fish fillets, lobsters, crabs, scallops, and more.
All oysters will be freshly shucked each morning, and preorders are welcome but not required.
Customers can email sales@qldprawns.com.au to arrange oyster trays and preferred pick-up days.

Free movie night
Logan Brothers Rugby League Club will host its first outdoor movie night on 12 April at Civic Centre Park, 170 Wembley Road, Logan Central.
The free community event will take place over four hours, with Moana 2 screening at 5.30pm, followed by Sonic the Hedgehog 3 at 7.30pm.
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or picnic rugs and settle in for a family-friendly evening under the stars.
A canteen and licensed bar will be open throughout the event.
Eternal MMA brings action to Logan for the first time
Eternal MMA will make its Logan City debut at the Logan Entertainment Centre on Friday, 3 May.
The nationally recognised mixed martial arts promotion is known for showcasing top-tier Australian talent, many of whom go on to compete internationally.
UFC fighters Jack Della Maddalena, Steve Erceg, and Casey O’Neill are among those who rose through the ranks of Eternal MMA.
Eternal 95 promises a full card of competitive bouts featuring the next generation of MMA athletes.
Eternal MMA is streamed globally on UFC Fight Pass and has become a proving ground for fighters aiming to break onto the world stage.

Old Time New Vogue Dance at Woodhill Hall
Woodhill Hall will host an Old Time New Vogue Dance on Saturday, 12 April, starting at 7pm.
Live music will be provided by the band “The Undecided.”
Attendees can participate in a Lucky Door Prize, multi-draw raffle, Monte Carlo, and Lucky Spot prizes.
A supper is included in the $10 admission fee for guests aged 14 and over; those under 14 can attend for free.
