Computer Group for Seniors

The Logan Seniors Computer Group meets from 9am-12pm on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month at Logan West Library. The small, mature aged, and friendly group has been helping locals since 1995. Members share their knowledge of computers, mobile phones, tablets and other technology, and assist each other (beginners to advanced). Bring your own computer or share with others. Square Dancing Exercise

Learn modern square dancing on Wednesday 10 April at the Logan City Square Centre. Organisers say there’s no complicated footwork to learn – it’s just walking in time to music. The session will run from 10am-12pm and costs $7 per person. 161A Magnesium Drive Crestmead. Gentle physical and mental exercise while interacting with others in your “Square”. Emergency Mental Health Plan

Create an Emergency Mental Health Action Plan (EMHAP) this Autumn to stay on top of our mental health. An EMHAP is a proactive approach to managing mental health and ensuring appropriate care is in place when needed most. Free workshops will be held throughout Logan, including Beenleigh Historical Village (20 March and 15 May, 5.30-7.30pm) and Logan Healthy Living, Meadowbrook (24 April, 5.30-7.30pm). Early Easter at Bethania

Head to Bethania Community Centre on Saturday 30 March for an early Easter celebration. With fun, food, and festivities, this event promises a great time for all ages. Easter eggs, a sausage sizzle, games, a mini market, facepainting, music and more from 10am-2pm. The event is free. 88-118 Station Road Bethania

Artisan Rum Comedy Night

Beenleigh Artisan Rum Distillery is hosting another comedy night on Saturday 30 March. Featured comedians include Joe Patrick, Jonny Winter, and Mark O’Connell. The night’s headliner, Dusty Rich, will entertain the audience with his “off the cuff” comedy. The evening starts at 6.30pm. Head to Beenleigh Artisan Rum Distillery to book. Tickets are $15 per person.
