Aqua fun
Aquavoyage is water-based playgroup that offers fun and challenging activities to assist your child to be safer in and around water. The class focuses on social, emotional, mental and physical development of both children and parents. The free event is suitable for kids aged between nine months and three years. It will run from 11-12pm on Wednesday 13 March at Little Snappers Swim School Berrinba. Please bring suitable swimwear including waterproof swim nappy. Contact 0738031864.

Lung health
Locals struggling with chronic lung conditions or heart failure can head to Logan Metro Sports & Events Centre for $5 “lung power” classes. The next class will run from 12-1pm on Friday 15 March. An allied health professional will lead the session. Attendees are asked to bring a water bottle and towel, enclosed shoes, a hat and sunscreen. Contact 0730816622.

Computer Group
Logan Senior Computer Group meets on the second and fourth Saturday of each month at Logan West Library. From 9am-12pm, a small, informal and friendly group of mature aged people meet to share technological and electronic advice with each other. They’ve been doing it since 19995. Restoration society open day
South Coast Restoration Society’s open day is on Sunday 10 March. The vintage display is open for those hoping to “step back in time”. There are many sheds to explore with various collections of items from a bygone era; stationary engines, water pumps, antiques, old tractors and heritage vehicles. You can see a fully restored Steam Roller as well as visit Heritage Print. Food and refreshments are available on site.

Bowls
Local seniors can keep active and entertained by joining a weekly game of indoor bowls at Logan Central Community Centre. The game is for those aged 50 years and over, and will run weekly until 24 June this year. The next game is on Monday 18 March, running from 9.30am-12pm. Contact the Seniors Indoor Bowls Inc

Pickleball
Locals looking to try pickleball, or return to the game, can head to St Bernardine’s Primary School Regents Park on Wednesday 13 March for a for a free game. It will run from 6.30-7.30pm. Contact Colin 0418780772 to book your spot. Places are limited
