Dog river walk
At Logan River Parklands this Sunday 23 April, Logan Houndies are having a dog walk along the river. The group welcomes all owners and all breeds. Participants should meet at the main carpark at 4pm, and the walk will start shortly afterwards, ending end at 5pm. All dogs must be on leads.
Psychic expo
A psychic and holistic expo will be held at Beenleigh Bowls Club on Sunday 30 April. There will be a range of stalls selling products such as crystals, tumblestones, incense, sage, essential oils, and candles. There are also opportunities to booking reaadings and a reiki session. The expo is from 10am to 4pm.
Mother’s Day market
Bath Stuff are hosting a Mother’s Day market on Saturday 22 April. The market is on from 8am to 1pm and will be held at the Bethania Community Centre. There will be a variety of products avaliable, including bath bombs, soaps, bath salts, shower steamers, room sprays and candles.
Friday Night Comedy
The Beenleigh Artisan Distillery are hosting a comedy night on Friday 21 April. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7:00pm. The line-up includes Queenslanders like Ash Chapman, James Missen, Lloyd Bendle, Jemma Bayley, Mark O’Connell and headliner Nick Carr. Bookings are essential.
Billy vs Elton
‘Billy vs Elton – Dueling Pianos’ showcases the musical careers of Billy Joel and Elton John. Featuring a live nine-piece band and five vocalists, viewers will hear the artists’ greatest hits, ranging from Bennie and the Jets, and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road to Piano Man and Uptown Girl. This event is on Saturday 22 April.
