Watch: Body-cam captures moment Logan boy arrested after alleged chemist break-in

A Logan boy, 17, has been charged over an alleged break-in at chemist on the Gold Coast on Tuesday (10 June).

Police allege officers were called to Cheltenham Drive, Robina at around 3.45am following reports two people had “forced entry to the chemist by breaking the front glass window”.

A 17-year-old boy from Mount Warren Park was arrested at the scene, police allege, while a second male fled on foot.

“Officers seized a white 2012 Lexus IS250 sedan parked at the front of the business,” A Queensland Police Service statement read.

“A subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly located stolen medication from the chemist inside.”

The Lexus had been reported stolen from Grandview Street at Kuraby around 1.40am four days earlier.

The 17-year-old Mount Warren Park boy was charged with one count each of enter premises and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Investigations continue.
