Logan vocal coach, Lisa Lockland-Bell, is training a team of community leaders to use their voices to raise money for society’s unsung heroes.
A Loganholme resident and the founder of Performance Studios, Ms Lockland-Bell is helping train eight of south-east Queensland’s business and community leaders ahead of their performances at the upcoming ‘Unsung Heroes’.
The inaugural Unsung Heroes event will feature eight performers who will showcase their musical talents to raise funds for The Carers Foundation Australia, an organisation dedicated to helping unpaid family carers.
“It is an absolute privilege to support The Carers Foundation Australia and Unsung Heroes,” Ms Lockland-Bell said.
“As a cancer survivor myself, I am well aware of the toll ongoing treatments and medical appointments can have.
“I am committed to ensuring those who care for their loved ones, also care for themselves.”
The list of performers include:
- ex-Logan resident and radio host Margaux Parker;
- Founder and CEO of The Coffee Club, John Lazarou;
- Doctor, Lawyer and Disability Advocate, Dinesh Palipana;
