A 38-year-old Logan man has been charged after allegedly driving a car into a garage and injuring a pedestrian.
Police will allege the man was driving a Toyota Kluger along Rural Street at Logan Central at around 9.30pm, when the car hit a pedestrian and then crashed into a garage, where it hit a car parked inside.
“A fire has then started, and the two cars were engulfed in flames,” a police statement read.
The man allegedly fled the scene before emergency crews arrived.
Police apprehended the man the next day (Monday 22 January) at a property in Kingston.

The man was charged with four counts of arson, two counts of possess dangerous drugs, and one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, possess controlled substance, possess utensil.
He was refused police bail and is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday 23 January.
