Logan locals hoping to become Australia’s next poetry slam champion can soon have a crack.
The local heat of the Australian Poetry Slam (APS) is at Extraction Artisan Coffee in Slacks Creek from 6.30pm to 9pm this Thursday 21 September.
Finalists in the 2023 APS will be drawn from 60 heats around Australia.
A slam poetry workshop will be open to participants aged 16 and over prior to the heat. It will be held at Logan North Library before the heat from 3.30-5pm.
