A 15-year-old boy who was critically injured in an electric scooter crash at Yarrabilba on Tuesday has died.
He lost his battle for life at Queensland Children’s Hospital yesterday (Sunday).
Initial investigations indicate the 15-year-old local boy came off the e-scooter on the footpath at Basalt Drive, at about 8.35am.
The Forensic Crash Unit and Child Protection and Investigation Unit (CPIU) are investigating the incident.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Anyone with information or relevant footage that could assist in the investigation is urged to contact police.
