Dreams of escaping on an exotic holiday will become reality for one Underwood couple who on have won almost $90,000.
Their holiday of a lifetime is now in the works after finding out they held the winning entry in a Keno Mega Millions draw on Thursday.
The total prize: $89,765.10.
The couple said they had been daydreaming about an escape for years.
Now it was finally possible.
“It’s so great,” the winning woman said.
“It’s not every day you win $89,000.
“We were out for dinner and decided to put on a game of Keno. We
didn’t expect to win a jackpot prize.”
She said this was the most her and her husband had ever won.
“My husband is keen to celebrate,” she said.
“I’ll personally keep it lowkey.
“We’re very surprised.
We will look to put this towards a holiday – something we’ve wanted to do for a while.”
