Two people have died after a house was engulfed by fire at Kingston on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Adelaide Street about 3.04pm on 21 July following reports the house was fully alight.
Queensland Police said a man and woman were found inside the house and declared dead.
Four other occupants escaped the property and were not physically injured.
Police earlier declared an emergency under the Public Safety Preservation Act and established an exclusion zone around the area. The declaration was revoked at 4.55pm.
A crime scene remains in place while police and emergency services investigate the cause of the fire.
Anyone with relevant information, CCTV, mobile phone footage or other vision has been urged to contact police.
