Police have confirmed a 28-year-old Browns Plains woman was walking across the road with a child in a pram when it was hit by a light truck.
The QAS spokesperson said the toddler, a three-year-old girl, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital in critical condition.
The woman was not physically injured.
The 43-year-old male driver of the light truck, who is from Redbank Plains ,was also not injured in the crash.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or dash cam of the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
