Three local teens arrested over stolen Maserati

Three local teens have been arrested following a six-hour chase over a stolen Maserati.

Police will be alleged a Maserati Levante was stolen from a property on Ryan Street at West End early Thursday 23 November morning.

At around 7.30pm that night police saw the car in Kingston.

Polair monitored the car as it was driven towards Brisbane, until police successfully deployed a tyre deflation device in King Street at Durack at 1.30am.

“The vehicle continued for some time, travelling along the Logan Motorway before coming to a stop near the Kingston Road exit,” police said.

“Four juveniles left the vehicle on foot but were taken into custody nearby with assistance from the dog squad.”

A 14-year-old Crestmead boy was charged with entering a dwelling, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and receiving tainted property (car keys).

A 15-year-old Woodridge girl was charged with attempted entering a dwelling, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and stealing.

A 15-year-old Kingston boy and a 16-year-old Vincent girl were both been charged with unlawful use of motor vehicle.
